For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it.

What is in it for me? How will this profit me? I'm sure we have all asked this before? Many have been called to sacrifice their lives for Jesus and the gospel. Persecution for sure, and possible death, are to be expected of Christians. When we put the cause of Christ first, we are fulfilling the call to present ourselves a living sacrifice. This will enable us to die to ourselves and live unto Christ! So, what does it profit me? Eternal life in heaven! God so loved the world, He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life! I love you.
