casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

Though we occupy earthly places, the battles of life take place in the hearts and minds of people. We are attacked everyday and from every direction. With what? False teaching. It's everywhere and especially rampant on social media platforms that allow short but catchy videos. Our enemies use this weapon to infiltrate our minds and cause us to turn from sound doctrine. Wrong teaching = wrong thinking = disobedience. Bringing our thoughts into captivity and holding them up to scripture is where we find victory through obedience. Being a student of God's Word = right teaching = right thinking = obedience! I love you.
