In just over a week, we will celebrate our country’s Independence Day. We celebrate liberty. We celebrate freedom from oppressive restrictions on our life, behavior, political views, etc. We will celebrate an idea! See, only God can manifest real liberty. Only God can lift the veil between darkness and light, life and death. Real liberty comes from our Lord and where His spirit is, liberty abounds. We are powerful over the oppression of sin. We are set free. Free indeed. Where is the spirit of the Lord in your life? Your liberty depends on that. I love you.
