The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: And the knowledge of the holy is understanding.
Proverbs 9:10 KJV
Fear of the Lord is the difference between wisdom and foolishness. Without a humble reverence for God, our arrogance and pride will be on display in our lives. This fear is not just respect or reverence. This fear also doesn’t mean we are terrified. This fear encompasses humility and submission. God is holy. He hates sin. When we understand this, we begin to know Him and are seeking to please Him. Don’t let haughtiness and pride prevent you from knowing God in the very way He created us to do so. Be still and KNOW! I love you.
