The Word Of God Says…

Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.

James 4:17 KJV

In religions across the world, we will find teachings of avoiding evil. There are teachings of selfish denial. But the Christian faith emphasizes our pursuit of the good of others. Yes! Christ taught us to love our enemies pray for them that despitefully use us. James says here that it is a sin when we know and don’t. We can’t be found only thinking about what the Word says. We are to become doers! Our faith in Him will drive us to be more than just believers. It will drive us to more than just abstaining from evil! We will be found faithfully doing what we know to be good. Go! Love God with all your heart, soul and mind. Go! Love your neighbor as yourself. Let others see these good works and God receive glory! I love you.
